1. Call to Order.

The Planning Commission hearing came to order at 7:30 P.M.


2. Election of Planning Commission officers for Chairman and Vice Chairman.

Upon nomination by Commissioner Lyman, seconded by Commissioner Dunn,
the Planning Commission reelected Commissioner Komoroske as Chairman for a
term of one year. The nomination passed on a vote of 7 to 0.

Upon nomination by Commissioner Wagner, seconded by Commissioner Fossum,
the Planning Commission reelected Commissioner Dunn as Vice Chairman for a
term of one year. The nomination passed on a vote of 7 to 0.

CONSENT CALENDAR:
AN ITEM ON THE CONSENT CALENDAR WILL BE HEARD ONLY IF SOMEONE REQUESTS IT BE REMOVED FROM THE CONSENT DOCKET. ITEMS NOT REMOVED WILL BE APPROVED OR RECOMMENDED FOR APPROVAL AS A GROUP AT THE BEGINNING OF THE MEETING.

9. Consideration of approval of the Planning Commission minutes of the regular public
hearing of February 1, 2011.

10. Other Business.

The Planning Commission voted unanimously to pass a resolution recommending that
City Council approve the add-on tax for transportation priorities.

Commissioner Lyman gave an update on the Affordable Housing Master Plan
Advisory Group.

Commissioners Jennings and Fossum gave an update on the Transportation
Commission.

Chairman Komoroske and Commissioner Fossum gave an update on the Transit Corridor
Working Group and the BRAC Advisory Group.

Commissioner Fossum gave an update on the BRAC Ad Hoc Committee.

Commissioner Dunn gave an update on the Waterfront Committee.

Commissioner Jennings discussed the potential relocation of the CVS store on King
Street.

Deputy Director Barbara Ross discussed text amendments that will be brought to the
Commission in the coming months.

Chairman Komoroske discussed an opportunity for training for Planning Commission
members.

The Planning Commission meeting adjourned at 10:45 P.M.
