Alexandria Police Investigate Fatal Beating
Last night at approximately 11:00 p.m., a 16-year-old male T.C. Williams student was attacked and beaten by a group of subjects in the area of Market Square in Old Town, 300 block of King Street.
Alexandria police responded to Market Square after receiving calls for a fight and located the victim. A medic unit also responded, attended to the victim and transported him to Inova Alexandria hospital where he was pronounced dead at 11:55 p.m.
This case remains open and the exact cause of death will be determined by an autopsy. The name of the victim will not be released.
