For Immediate Release January 7, 2005 PIO 012-05/bg MEDIA ADVISORY City and Alexandria Transit Company Launch New Lunch Shuttle Bus Service What: The City of Alexandria and the Alexandria Transit Company introduce the media and public to the new DASH About Lunch Shuttle bus service. Who: - City of Alexandria Mayor William D. Euille - Alexandria Transit Company General Manager Sandy Modell - Steve Pinkos, Deputy Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Deputy Director of the United States Patent and Trademark Office When: Monday, Jan. 10 11 am RAIN OR SHINE Where: Photo op will take place near the DASH bus stop on Ballenger Avenue. Why: The lunch shuttle, which began operating Jan. 3, provides lunch-time passengers free travel every ten minutes from the Alexandria Patent and Trademark Office (PTO) campus to Old Town and back from 11:30 am to 2 pm, Monday through Friday.
