Alexandria Police Investigating Missing Children Case;
Twin 3-Year-Old Boys Last Seen with Father

The Alexandria Police Department is investigating the case of two missing children. The fraternal twin boys, age 3, were reported missing to police by their mother, Lashawn Musgrove, at 2:45 a.m. today. The boys, Tyrone and Tyrik Musgrove, were last seen in the company of their father, Michael Parker.

Mr. Parker has a history of substance abuse. Tyrone has asthma and a cold, and does not have his medication. He is in need of immediate medical care.

Ms. Musgrove, a resident of Oxon Hill, reports that she left the boys with their father yesterday morning (Wednesday, May 9), around 11 a.m. at the McDonald’s restaurant in the 600 block of King Street. Mr. Parker was supposed to return the boys to their aunt, Ms. Musgrove’s sister, in the Alexandria area of Fairfax County at 6 p.m., but failed to do so.

The boys are African-American, 2 ½ feet tall and weigh 35 pounds. Tyrone has short hair and was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, a blue jacket with “Polo” on it, grey and white tennis shoes. Tyrik has cornrows and was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, black jeans, a black jacket, and black Nike Air tennis shoes.

Michael Parker is a 32-year-old African-American man, 6'3" tall and weighing approximately 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt with red lettering, grey sweat pants, a black stocking cap, and black Nike tennis shoes with red and yellow details.

Anyone who sees the boys or Mr. Parker is asked to contact Alexandria Police at (703) 838-4444 or their local police department.
