Alexandria Police Investigate an Apparent Homicide
The Alexandria Police Department is currently investigating an apparent homicide in the 1600 block of Cameron Street. Today, at approximately 7:33 a.m., a passerby saw the body of a man in a grassy area and called police.
The victim’s identity and the cause of death are not yet known.
Detectives and patrol officers are canvassing the neighborhood. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the Criminal Investigations Section at (703) 838-4711.
