Man Medevaced After Assault at 3806 Executive Avenue on 8-28-99
The Fire Department responded to 3806 Executive Avenue Saturday night at 9:17 p.m. for an injured man and found an unconscious male with unresponsive pupils, facial injuries and abdomen tenderness. Based on these injuries he was flown from a landing zone set up at Cora Kelly School and taken to the MedStar Unit at the Washington Hospital Center. The man was later identified as 19-year-old Lopez Mengibar. The injuries were sustained as a result of a fight. Mr. Mengibar is reportedly in stable condition and could be released today.
