24. Introduction and First Reading. Consideration. Passage on First Reading of AN ORDINANCE to amend the Alexandria City Code by increasing the fares that may be charged by taxicabs which are licensed by the City.

25. Introduction and First Reading. Consideration. Passage on First Reading of AN ORDINANCE to amend the Alexandria City Code by changing the dates each year within which the Traffic and Parking Board must conduct its survey of economic conditions in the taxicab industry and make its recommendation as to an appropriate level of taxicab certificates to the City Manager, and the dates each year within which the City Manager shall issue her order allocating any increases or decreases in the number of taxicab certificates.

26. Introduction and First Reading. Consideration. Passage on First Reading of AN ORDINANCE to amend the Alexandria City Code by clarifying that the provision of child care services by a child's or by childrens' grandparents in their home is not subject to City regulation.

27. Introduction and First Reading. Consideration. Passage on First Reading of AN ORDINANCE to amend the Braddock Road Metro Station Small Area Plan Chapter of the 1992 Master Plan by changing the land use designation of the property at 1107, 1109 and 1111 Princess Street from CL/Commercial Low to RB/Residential.

There will be a meeting of the Interagency Consortium on Adolescent Pregnancy (ICAP) on Thursday, March 20, 1997, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at First Christian Church, 2723 King Street, Alexandria, VA. It is anticipated that more than two members of City Council will be participating. The topic of discussion will be the issue of teen pregnancy.
