1. SUMMARY OF POINTS OF AGREEMENT FROM THE MARCH 19, 1997 COMMITTEE MEETING - MAYOR KERRY J. DONLEY
- City employee pay range maximums will be increased by 10% in FY 1998.
- The number of slots in Police and Sheriff Career Ladder Programs will be increased in FY 1998; staff is working on other career ladder alternatives.
- The City employee awards program will be implemented in FY 1998 as described in the Committee's Draft City Pay Philosophy.
- The Drafting Subcommittee will continue to work on the Pay Philosophy and present a revised proposal on March 24. The COLA and Merit increases will not be combined.
- On March 24 the Committee will continue its discussion of a Market Rate Adjustment in FY 1998.
