Dear Civic Association President:
I am writing to invite you to attend the January 23 City Council meeting at the Samuel Tucker Elementary School, 435 Ferdinand Day Drive (Cameron Station). The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. and includes a public discussion period at the end of the regular legislative docket.
This meeting is the first in a new Council-on-the Road program. That program is part of a communications/outreach initiative designed to keep citizens informed on important issues
facing the community and to increase the level of communication between elected officials, City staff, and citizens.
During the public discussion period, citizens will be free to raise any issues of concern and/or comment on any topic or City project. I hope that you and the members of your association will attend this meeting.

A copy of the docket for the Council meeting is enclosed. If you have any questions, please call City Clerk Beverly Jett at (703) 838-4550 or Director of Citizen Assistance Rose Williams Boyd at (703) 838-4800.
Yours very truly,
Philip Sunderland
