The Mayor and certain Members of City Council will be attending the 2000 Virginia Municipal League (VML) Annual Conference which will be held October 22-24, 2000, at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City, 2799 Jefferson Davis Highway, Arlington, Virginia.

In addition, as part of the Virginians to Virginians Program sponsored by the Virginia Municipal League, there will be a breakfast meeting with representatives of the Roanoke City Council and staff on Monday, October 23, 2000, at 7:30 a.m. at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City, 2799 Jefferson Davis Highway, Arlington, Virginia.

Certain Members of City Council will be attending the Community Foundation of Alexandria, Inc. Annual Conference to be held at the Charles E. Beatley, Jr. Library, 5005 Duke Street, Alexandria, Virginia, on November 1, 2000 at 2:00 p.m.

The conference will be led by Robert S. McDonough and will cover the FY 2001 Annual Budget, The Computer Learning and character building project for disadvantaged students, organization and staffing initiatives, Councilman Euille’s project on memberships and other topics.
