WHEREUPON, upon motion by Councilwoman Woodson, seconded by Councilman Smedberg and carried unanimously, City Council adopted the schedule of Council's regular City Council meetings for January 2004 through June 2004, with the following additions and changes: note the change on the calendar that the Tuesday, June 8 legislative meeting is moved to Wednesday, June 9; an open house event at Charles Houston Center at 11 a.m - 3 p.m., on January 31; schedule the follow-up work session with the Planning Commission on Monday, February 2, at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Workroom; the annual George Washington Birthday Parade on Monday, February 16 at 1:00 p.m.; the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce State of the City breakfast on Tuesday, February 24, at 7:30 a.m. at the Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites, 625 First Street; the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade on Saturday, March 6 at 12:30 p.m.; the annual "Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day," sponsored by the Office on Women, on Thursday, April 22, kickoff at 8:00 a.m. in the Vola Lawson Lobby, City Hall; and the Alexandria Commission on Persons with Disabilities annual award reception at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 22 in the Vola Lawson Lobby.
