Please take notice that the City Council will hold a Special Meeting (Budget Adoption) on Monday, May 3, 2004, at 7:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 301 King Street, Alexandria, Virginia, for the purpose of considering the following items.

Public Notices

There will be an Open Space bus tour on Saturday, May 8, 2004, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. that will leave from the Lee Center to review open space sites.


City Council will hold a Community Forum on Council's draft Vision and Strategic Plan. Session I will be on Tuesday, May 11, at 7:00 p.m. in the Exhibit Hall at the Lee Center, 1108 Jefferson Street. Session II will be on Thursday, May 20, 2004, at 7:00 p.m. in the Exhibit Hall at the Lee Center, 1108 Jefferson Street.

City Council will meet on its Vision and Strategic Plan on Wednesday, May 12, 2004 at 4:00 p.m. in the Council Workroom, and on Saturday, May 22, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at the Lee Center Fire Training Rooms.

The Tuesday, May 11, 2004, City Council meeting has been changed to Wednesday, May 12, 2004. The 5:30 Work Session on Open Space has also been moved to Wednesday, May 12, 2004.

There will be a Public Hearing on Tuesday, June 15, 2004, at 7:00 p.m., in Council Chambers on the City Council's Vision and Strategic Plan.
