The City of Alexandria and Agenda: Alexandria will hold a Series of Community Pre-Budget Briefings at the following times and locations: Thursday, January 26, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Beatley Library, 5005 Duke Street; Wednesday, February 1, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at The Lyceum, 201 S. Washington Street; and Wednesday, February 8, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Charles Barrett Elementary, 1115 Martha Custis Drive, in the Multi-Purpose Room.

There will be an Arlandria Community Meeting with City Council, businesses and residents on Monday, January 30, at 7:00 p.m., in the Gymnasium at the Cora Kelly Recreation Center, 25 West Reed Avenue.

City Council will hold an Economic Sustainability Summit on Saturday, January 28, 2006, at the Radisson Hotel, 901 North Fairfax Street from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The Annual George Washington Birthday Parade will be held on Monday, February 20, 2006, at 1:00 p.m.

The City Council Legislative Subcommittee Meeting will be held in the Council Work Room beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 20, 2006.

The City Council Legislative Subcommittee Meeting will be held in the Council Work Room beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 27, 2006.
