Council heard testimony on the FY 2008 Budget and CIP for FY 2008-2013. Budget adoption will be May 7, 2007.

3. Consideration of Convening An
Executive Session
Closed to the Public For Discussion of Potential Litigation.
At 8:38 p.m., City Council convened in executive session,
pursuant to Section 2.2-3711(a)(3) for the purpose of discussing the acquisition of real property for a public purpose.
At 9:11 p.m., City Council reconvened the special meeting.
City Council authorized the City Manager and City Attorney to acquire the property at 48 South Early Street, along the lines discussed with Council.
City Council adopted the resolution pertaining to the Executive Session.
